Windows won’t let me open the installer. That is SmartScreen warning about an unsigned program. Check the SHA-256 and use More info → Run anyway.

Google says the app is not verified. Google’s verification is still in progress. See the warning in the Quickstart.

The old icon is still in the taskbar. That is Windows’ icon cache. Unpin and pin again, or restart Windows Explorer.

I forgot the EpistulaMail password. It is not stored anywhere. On the lock screen, “Esqueceu a senha?” (forgot the password?) erases the data on this computer so you can sign in to your accounts again; the messages stay on the server.
