Connect Gmail

When you choose Gmail, EpistulaMail opens Google’s sign-in page in your browser. You sign in there, authorize, and go back to the app.

EpistulaMail asks for:

  • https://mail.google.com/: read, send and organize your emails over IMAP and SMTP. It is the only Google permission that grants access to those protocols.
  • openid, email and profile: your address, name and photo, to show the account.

Details in How EpistulaMail uses your Google account (in Portuguese).
